the lack of atmosphere yesterday could be
due to the time of the kick-off with a normal 3 o'clock kick off the majoity of fans that make most of the noise would have spent 2-3 hrs in the pub before hand and so fuelled by a gallon of ale tend to be more vocal, I personally was still nursing a hangover and so quieter than normal myself
The plymouth fans made a lot of noise because that is what away fans do regardless of kick-off time
