altho just noticed that he won 8 Tour stages in a single race - either they had more stages for the sprinters then, or he was more than just a sprinter.
Obviously no way Cav will be anywhere near sports personality of the year - he could win yellow, green and polka dot jersey and still not do that.
Who's favourite though, out of interest? Can't off the top of my head think of a single Brit sportsperson who's beaten the best this year.
