My thoughts on yesterday

Obviously it was only a friendly but I was very impressed with Crofts, he was always looking for the ball and on several occasions targeted the full back and put in some good crosses.

Fox looked good too pinging the ball around and basically doing what you would want from someone playing in that position.

Surman showed some good touches but there is a lot more to come from him.

Jackson did ok, a couple of powerful runs on goal taking on the last defender, we will score a decent amount I imagine.

Ward played well, strong at the back although I think it may have been him who was turned for their goal.

Ruddy, good distribution and other than their goal I thought did very well.

Some great passing from them yesterday, a couple of times they looked like they were trying to walk it in and the 2-3 minutes where we kept the ball looked great.

I'm not getting too carried away, but their looked enough there to give us a good chance next season of finishing in a decent position in the league
