Just watched the match in the States

So, this is the first time Ihave seen City this season, and I have to say......

Pretty bad. If it wasn't for the fact that Plymouth were out of confidence and generaly a very poor side, we would have lost that game.

Ashton looks a shadow of himself from last season
Marny - I can't really see what he gives the team - his corners were terrible - all of them.
Defence - I am not a defensive expert and i won't single anybody out, but we look nervous and disorganised everytime the ball came near the box.
Safri - without having a frame of reference I would guess this wasn't his best game- played several hospital passes and rarely played a good forward ball all game.
Hughes - Mixed - some good running, but he can't seem to cross and I agree with other comments perviously that he will break somebodies leg this season.

Positives - McVeigh looked lively and should be back in the team
Colin- seemed solid at the back and likes getting forward - just wish he woudl take his man on once or twice in a game.
Greeno - couple of vital saves

As you can probably tell, I was not impressed.

We have gone so far back since the end of last season, it's unbeleiveable.

I don't have an answer to it, but I worry for the rest of the season.

Still, at least it's three points so it may turn the general level of play around
Midfield was missing for whole stretches of the game.
