in 2008 Sastre put in a massive attack on the last mountain of the tour, Alpe d'huez, and gained minutes on his rivals, after having not attacked at all during the previous mountatin stages. It was enough to put him in yellow and enough to give him the cushion he needed as a climber before the final time-trial.

The big difference was Sastre had to beat Evans, not Contador.

did hear on Eurosport that there's a rumour going round that Andy and Alberto will be joing the saem team next year...
