As I remember it, he was a straight As schoolboy with an offer from Oxford or Cambridge and turned that down to concentrate on his footy career

Now he's tried it - and after a year he's failed to break into the first team and is out on loan to League 2

If you were his mum and dad, what would you do? I'd tell him to pack it in and get a degree. The percentages are SO much better
