Gee cant believe how split people are on this guy. Tom Hayletts report on MFW licks his ass, as a "talented" guy....good in the air, and a bit of pace!!
What was he watching last year?? For me (and ive been saying it for a long time) Askou will get found out....and now he has.
Quite simply, if he hadnt got injured I doubt very much we would have gone up as champions. He cant run, for a tallish guy he is useless in the air, in fact he barely gets off the ground and if he does he fouls them. His tacking can be rash, and his passing is dismal. His positioning is dreadful and he was bailed out by Doc so many times before his injury. I just cant believe its taken this long for him to be found out, it was glaringly obvious last year from watching him that he was a total liability.
I dont like criticising players, but im glad Lambert appears to have seen that this guy doesnt cut it.
As for Tom Haylett, his reporting is just as bad.
