your problem is that you very rarely counterbalance your "light joshing" with pleasantries.

In my experience of life, and message boards, only mates generally get away with "light joshing".

It's a bit like when Norfolk people take the piss out of Norfolk, that's OK. But if other people take the piss out of Norfolk, it can sometimes get your back up.
