worst case of over-exhuberant dads at their sons footy...

for me when i was about 11, playing for eaton rangers in about 1981 in the norfolk district sunday league, we played gt yarmouth away - - nastiest bunch of young hooligans we ever encountered. spitting and pushing/kicking, and that was just in the changing rooms! seriously! One of their dads was on the half way line constantly screaming for his "beloved little angel" to kcik seven shades out of our best player (matthew hosgood of eaton!) - - hossy, got the ball and dribbled it sideways across the pitch towards this dad - hossy then kicked the ball as hard as he could straight into the dads face. Was ace! huge fight broke out on the pitch with mums and dads squaring up to each other!

ahhhh, memories......
