One thing that this World Cup proves

is not matter what you do fans will want the exact opposite.

4-4-2 = I want 4-5-1
4-5-1 = What a defensive minded foreigner!
English manager = need top class foreign coach
No Joe Cole = it's crying out for Joe Cole
Joe Cole plays s**t = Why didn't he take Walcott?
Rooney plays s**t = He needs Heskey to get the best out of him
Heskey plays and Rooney is s**t = it's all Heskey's fault
Passive foreign manager = why doesn't he shout and scream?
Shouting and screaming foreign manager = he's lost the plot
Gerrard and Lampard play central together = why not push one out?
England fail to win World Cup = Beckham and Owen are past it
McClaren drops Beckham = why drop our best players?

etc etc
