Why is it they constantly underachieve though?

You have to reach a point where you say "you know what, sky, BBC, they are wrong. These players are good but nothing special". Every manager gets the blame but one day I'd like to see the players get it. For quite simply being awful. What can a manager do to stop goals 1 and 2 today? Upson was at left back fir no good reason 4 the second. No manager can turn him good overnight.
