honestly think there might have been something in the suggestions that the Belgian police wound that one up, having experienced rough physical treatment by them. There was NOBODY on the street for 50m in any direction from us in Brugge for the Spain-France QF. The Police came by, stared at me constantly, forcing their horse into my shoulder more and more to the point where I was shoulder to shoulder with the woman I was with, and her other shoulder was scraping the wall.

I was wearing a Norwich shirt, she a French shirt. And there were only two of us, sober and just chatting.

Even started to wind me up, and that is very difficult in real life.

Can't remember if there was any trouble in 2008.
