McTheKnife has missed a trick
They should have dug up the pitch, relaid it to a level twelve feet below where is it now, and then installed 10 rows of seats in all stands.
That would have added about 4,000 seats and, as the pitch would have been well below the water-table, it would have saved a fortune on sprinklers...
