Let's get this straight - it wasn't the team selection, the formation or the tactics that
allowed the Algerian players to nick the ball off Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard, Heskey etc. without any problem. It wasn't boredom, lack of sex or video games, or no alcohol that allowed the USA to dominate us in midfield. It was the poor attitude and ability of the eleven England players on the pitch at the time.
And if they can't do those elementary things properly, why should we trust them to do anything?
