Seriously though. My eldest has been training at an FA charter club.

Never have they been coached on how to receive a ball properly or on technique.

It's a bit of passing and then a match, good players v bad players.

That's an FA charter club that's supposed to do things right.

That's why our technique is poor at the higher levels.

It's part of our football culture, fast, hard and get stuck in, get it in the mixer.
