Manchester evening news trying to boost ITV relative to BBC because, er, ITV PLC was formed when Carlton merged with Granada.

Article wasnt interesting enough to support this level of analysis, anyway. Was just interested in what people thought of the pundits. But getting to read that Tom English article was worth the thread alone, anyway.
