First I want to stand up and cheer you for your courage

Second I want to say that I like your prose style, very lucid and readable

But third, and most importantly but I have had to tuck it away at the end because I feel ashamed, I want to apologise. You and I have had some fantastic banter over the years, starting with your idiotic belief that Karl Marx is a philosopher rather than a social economist. And in the course of that we have ripped the piss out of each other, invented fantastical scenarios about each other's love lives, created fictional personas, and described in loving details the obscene activities we were each up to, mostly involving Peter Thorne. I really, REALLY hope that in the course of all that I have never caused you hurt or upset, by saying something that I would never have said if I had known your circumstances. But I suspect I am bound to have done so, and that is an awful thought. So a genuine, heartfelt "sorry" from me for doing so. Sorry.
