Frankly I'm sad to say I already can't wait for England to get knocked out so I can enjoy the World Cup - the TV coverage is Unbearable with everyone competing to see how jingoistic and 'positive' they can be so that no-one can accuse them of not being patriotic enough. ITV's attempts to pretend we played really well on Saturday were just plain embarrassing (even by their standards) and even the not-interrupting-a-goal advertising breaks are absolutely horrifying, what with the Sun, Ladbrokes and Carlsberg ones (shame - would never have thought Carlsberg could produce such a sh*t advert).

Still, it was funny after the Germany game last night when they asked Edgar Davids for his thoughts on England and he had the temerity to basically say they were a bit rubbish, whereupon everyone looked horrified and we quickly switched back to gormless comedy buffoon Kevin Keegan.
