What The F*** Did The Green Un Expect?
Its so obvious that they are all crushed that the decision re.Lambert has been accepted by the club, and that it has been mentioned, almost in passing, that the money is there and it will be paid etc etc.
What were they looking for? Boardroom dis-array and in-fighting at Carrow Road, plus angry exchanges between the fans and the club;l McNally getting a lot of stick included and, in general, a Summer of political and otherwise turmoil between club and fans, as well as between directors, shareholders etc?
Of course they were! They fully expected that to be the result, the fact that they have called it "bad news" reflects that, it was, to them, "bad news" for everyone connected at the club, and they expected, no, were eagerly awaiting the fall out as a result!!
But no, the club gets on with it; indeed, to make even lighter of it, and the decision to recruit Lambert, his new contract and that of his staff, his new IMPROVED contract is announced, and, in addition, all of the fans who they thought would be marching down Carrow Road with flaming torches, demanding the heads of Bowkett and McNally celebrate the result, agree that it was a bargain, and carry on enjoying the Summer!
The pale and hither-to unknown members of staff on the Green Un have had hissy fits as a result and are, desperately, trying to make the club look bad by reacting professionally, rather than how they had hoped.
They are collectively pathetic.
