Bad News / Good News

Looks like what we have been asked to pay is more than we thought we might have to, but it was more than worth it in my opinion.

But to soften the blow we have the news of the new contracts for the management team. Would the majority of these presumed pay rises been payable on promotion? Probably.

And of course its World Cup Squad day and Greeno is in the City, so that?s another story to relegate the compo story further away from the attention of the general public..

As regards our friend Canary1950 who had the exclusive news on the BBC 606 site that it was ?1m compo. Was this "news" a put up? Get a pseudo bad story out early, see it run round the web in a matter of minutes and then when the real number comes out, which worse than expected, smooth it with a good news story and no-one bats an eyelid.

Is this last paragraph bulls**t? Who knows but being of a suspicious nature I?m not so sure.

But just like League 1, I?m very happy that the whole sorry saga is finally over.
