For me, the state of everything is tits up whoever is in

and it's probably going to be tits up for the main period of their term

By the time another election is due, Labour will be primed to attack how they've done nothing, and have done so without anybody electing a coalition

The campaign and spin will be easilly in Labour's court for the next election. It would take some spectacular recovery all round, and a real 2 party love in for the coalition to work

Cameron and the Liberals were just desperate to get in. Labour didn't want that, and rightly chose to step down
