either pick the best 11 english players and play them in their respective positions or pick a formation and then pick the best english player in that position... DO NOT do some middling thing that no one is comfortable with.

It felt to me, SGE that you couldn't leave Owen or Rooney on the bench either because you didn't have enough conviction in the 5 across the middle or you were scared of what the media reaction would be if you left either Rooney or Owen out... either way you wimped out and the substitutions were more predictable than rain on a bank holiday...admit it you really had no idea, how to beat Norn Iron.

Personally, I would have started 4-4-2 as it has worked in the past, so you upset a few players but thats what being manager is about. I would also have hauled Rooney's ass off at half time for acting like a t**t, that may also have helped the 5 in midfield as obviously Cole would have come on and we were back to Sat's 5 across the middle.

So before the crucial game against Poland in Oct could you please ask Nancy if it would be at all possible to have you testicles back, if just for a few days during that weekend, thanks
