actually i think that there's been a ridiculous notion that's been around for too long that the Lib Dems are just the same as Labour and virtually agree with them on everything.
that's just bulls**t really. Lib Dems are as much anti-labour as they are anti-tory.
one very big area of Lib Dem and Tory agreement is in small government - which goes against everything Labour have ever imposed.
