er pedantry corner here, but

would it be meaningless?

as I understand it, we may well qualify ahead of Poland game 'cos even if they beat us and we finish second, we'll be one of the two best runners-up across the euro groups.

BUT...if we qualify as a 'lucky loser' like that - would it affect our chances of being seeded? Or do they not take qualification route into account?

sorry for the pedantry. Just curious.
