How difficult is league 1?

Hi all, Sheffield Wednesday fan in peace. First of all, congratulations on your fantastic season. Was an amazing turnaround after your first game. Anyway, as you may know we were sadly relegated back to league 1 for the first time in 5 years yesterday. Was just wondering what the standard is like down there now and what you reckon we should be implement to ensure we have the same success as yourselves?
