...oh how the hysterical English red tops howled and the "pundits" who have never managed (except from a sofa) laughed after his tenure as England Manager was over, those that had tipped him as a future Man Utd boss only a couple of years earlier...

Middlesbrough have been in terminal decline since he left, he won a trophy whilst he was there that either Arsenal or Liverpool would have given anything to have won this season.

He's taken an "unfashionable" Dutch club to the title (which English club would they be equivalent to Steve?) and will be an English manager in the Champions league next season-which is more than any here can manage to do. Noted that he has been linked with West Ham and Wolfsbery this morning, I hope he stays put and continues to prove people wrong, including those tipping him to return to the Premier League, those that happily tipped abuse on him not so long ago...
