Where to start...

First and foremost, the REPEATED warnings that a pitch invasion would result in the lap of honour being cancelled - the pitch invasion was selfish as well as embarrassing. Aside from that, you know you're not allowed on the pitch in any circumstances. You'd don't spark up in the stands or chuck missiles - what's so different about this rule? It's there for a reason - the club has to pay for the damage caused, and could have faced futher disciplinary action had it turned sour. But ultimately, the most awkward part was that it just wasn't a spontaneous outpouring of emotion. We hadn't just survived a rollercoaster last day; we had eased home with three weeks to spare. It felt like a load of over-excited mongs just wanted some attention by doing something they knew they weren't supposed to be doing.
