Whereas Sid's version was the anti-Frank. And yet somehow fitted the song almost as well as Sinatra's version does.

Did you know that it was originally a French pop tune btw? (But lyrics about something completely different.) And do you know who first nicked the tune and put English lyrics to it? (ie before Paul Anca wrote 'My Way'.)
