He was an odd one though - he really was quite frighteningly bad, and my Palace-supporting mate was in despair. And so Kiraly and the Matalan tracksuit came in; I assumed Speroni was out to grass somewhere; then suddenly he's back and playing really well. Which I think rather backs up Roy Carroll yesterday that goalkeepers really do improve with age!
