Reflections on the season

So we missed out on staying up by 2 points.
Let's not be too down about today - it was a freak result.
The 2 points that would have kept us safe should have be won in the following games:
1. Palace at home - 1st day of season - 1-0 up with 25 to play
2. Rovers at home - 1-0 up with 90 mins gone
3. Portsmouth away - 1-0 up dispite only having 10 men - penalty given against Leon - shocking decision
4. WBA away - totally dominated game - 3 sitters missed by Hucks, Leon and ?
5. Palace away - 3-1 up with 17 to play

We've gone down because of our inability to defend a lead (should I add Saints away to the list?) not because of today.

Flem is a legend, but he gets drawn out of position far too much (1st goal today was a classic example) - there's no points diving in to challenges when you're miles out of position!

Overall, I've been disappointed with the Premiership, mainly on away days - it'll be nice (small consolation) to visit grounds with real supporters - my visit to Old Trafford ranks among my worst ever - I've visited some 40 league grounds.

Keep the faith.
