The signings are key, get them all 100% spot on and i'd agree, even for Lambert though that's a big ask.

I'm not saying we won't do that, I just don't think its what we should expect to do.

If everything comes off over the summer and the first month or so of the season then I agree we can.

It also won't take more than a couple of 'misses' for us to fall a bit below that.

Midtable should be seen as acceptable next season. That shouldn't mean we can't be slightly disappointed, it also shouldn't be the target.
However, there is nothing wrong with having a 'decent or 'average' season every now and again, if its part of a progression.

The problem is that we (football fans as a whole) seem unable to have any patience any more. We want constant improvement and instant success (to greater and lesser degrees).
