Just recovered from the party

I was lucky enough to be invited so I went along with my daughter Gemma. We didn?t go to the pub afterwards, instead soaked up the sun and atmosphere round Carrow before the party.

I had a chat with Roger Munby after the game, pleased to see him looking well.

I bumped into Chris Goreham outside and we had a good chat about the season and how amazing it has been. We agreed that the last few months has been a bit of a dream after the opening day.

We met Mr C and Camcan outside, passed a few minutes of chat before the doors opened. When we got in in I was like a big kid in there wandering round and taking pictures with the players and Gemma. We were amazed at how big Fraser Forster really is.

I had a chat to David McNally and later on joined Stephan Phillips and Michael Foulger at their table for a while. I overheard Laurence Batty shouting that he wanted to speak to one of those Capital Canaries about train travel so I went and introduced myself and we then talked for fifteen minutes about everything but league football, but did reminisce about his non-league days. He?s a real character and the sort of person who will keep spirits up with the players.

We left at a little before nine and got the train back to London, home around 11.45pm.

And yes it was a nice touch to see the ?Thanks to the away fans? on the scoreboard.
