which is very much a good thing. I certainly felt when the campaign kicked off that the winner would be apathy with a dash of lethargy but I anticipate this might drive a better turnout. It probably also adds a little bit more to those areas where candidates felt comfortable (eg where I live) and don't even bother campaigning. However I think this is really the election where PR would have worked best for the Lib Dems - they'll probably have a lot more votes without capturing that many more seats.
