Basically, people make aggrovated statements and comparisons on here

and there's a culture on here to do it in groups. One drops a big bomb, and others run with it, increasing the irritation of the first statement.

I can do it the old way, explain myself, or reply, and have each reply irritated and increased.

If I do that, 1 of 2 things happens 1, it gets taken to the top with another increasingly irritated assumption of my view, or 2, it gets taken to the top and becomes the wotb theme of the last two months "gay off warning imminent"

I don't know if you've noticed, but in the last week, a lot of that has simmered down.

It has done, because I've withdrawn trying to reason with many who just want to get at me, and they get the unfunny phrase. Which does the job, because it is their opinion, it's not mine

It ends the stupidity. Again, I'm sorry that you don't see it this way, but it's a result for me
