The Rail Europe Call Centre can be a bit hit and miss
Some of the staff, I agree, are good. The lot in the French travel office in Piccadilly Circus are fantastic.
Others, however, appear to have little or no idea about the product they are selling. Considering I have done a lot of foreign travel by train and know quite a bit about railways abroad, I find it pretty unprofessional when staff dealing with you do not know basic info they should do.
Another good alternative - and I have never had a problem with this lot - are Deutsche Bahn UK.
