Nowt to do with Bates. Squad is/was strong enough. This is a failure of management. grayson has een exposed as the clueless chancer we hoped he wasnt. Blackwell in a different haircut. Good when going good, but no plan B and no bollocks when it gets tough.
Not that it helps us. We're in freefall now. Best to forget about promotion for now, sack the coaching staff, get the youth in. Aim to get them fit as a team ahead of consolidation next season.
Depressing to think we could easily be four more years at least in this s**thole league.
