Walking with Ian Botham
Hi all,
25 years as a Norwich fan this year, gutted about last night, looking forward to a better standard of football next season, hoping Lambert stays...and needing your help...
I was diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Leukaemia in early 2008 aged 33. Bit gutting really. Since then I've had some really good meds and am doing well, on a day-to-day basis you wouldn't know I have any problems. My prognosis is good thankfully.
However some aren't so lucky and when blood cancer hits kids it hits them really hard. Sir Ian Botham has been raising money for Leukaemia Research for 25 years now and on the Worcester leg of his latest walk on 12 April I will be joining him.
Now for the begging bit....I set myself a target of ?1000 to raise and now need just ?180 to hit that magic number. Can you help? Any amount is gratefully received and I can assure you that by donating it will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
