It seems like his source is pretty reliable on what the club is trying to do ...

i.e. what clubs/individuals the club has been talking to etc.

But it seems like the source isn't too reliable on predicting which of the players that are being targetted will actually sign (e.g. Koumas "90% certain", Sidwell "A done deal, you people will get to hear about it on Thursday").

He does display a charming naivety in believing his source as gospel though, rather than taking an "I've heard this, make of it what you will" stance.
