Just back in Kenton

An immense day and a great win. We had a few beers in the Canary Social Club in a fund raising function for my pal John who is standing as the Labour PLP in Norwich North. Ed Balls was also there, we presented him with a Capital Canaries Tie, had a chat with him and did a couple of pics.

Off to the game, not a classic, very tight, got the impression that City would have taken a point, but super Chris? super header won it for us. My Mom was the Doc, who was a colossus today. Beckford didn?t get a sniff and spent the whole game tarting around, not interested and trying to win free kicks. Drury was also very good. I got the impression that City spent most of the game trying to be too cautious, trying not to make mistakes which caused us to make too many mistakes.

And some great subs by Lambert at the right time to influence the game.

I had a good chat with IED and The Big Feller on the train back to London. It was the first time I?ve met TBF ? he?s a good guy who loves his football.

Looking forward to my 15 seconds on the football league show later.
