I have it on authority he's rather play around 50 games for us next season, than get

splinters sat on Newcastles bench, or be playing reserve team football.

Newcastle (this season anyway) don't let their number 2 play for the reserves, so they get very little football apart from a handful of cup games.

He'd rather be our number 1 than their number 2 in those circumstances.

Of course, that all depends on what newcastle want to do with him, and if they'd loan him out again.

If he is number 3 still (or he can argue that playing regularly would be better for him than being on the bench) I would not be surprised to see him back here on loan.
- He knows us
- We know him
-They'll be happy with how he has progressed
- he can easily fly back from Norwich airport and has been doing so for a day or two when we are not playing midweek
- He'll be stepping up to champs level to further his development.

So if Harper keeps going as Number 1, we've a decent chance of having Forster on loan again next season.
