After 90 minutes
I still can?t work out whether City were footballing gods today or Yeovil were utter dog-s**t. Yeovil had a shot and got into our half a few times but that was it. We could have been three up in fifteen minutes, but weren?t. It was almost as if it was too easy for City today.
As Yeovil made two subs at half time, I got the impression that their manager, whoever he was, can?t have been too impressed with them. But their new players were no better than the ones that got tugged at half time.
How on earth did they score three goals against us at Huish Park?
How on each did the match sponsors give the champagne to Holty when Korey Smith was the best City player by a country mile?
Well done to the team for today. It could have been an awkward fixture but City dominated without their best midfielder. We could have scored five, maybe more.
And to the bunch of t**ts that started moaning in the first half when we kept the ball for a minute or so, and pulled them all over the pitch backwards and forwards before a cross was blocked and we won a corner ? what do you want from your Saturday afternoon?
And who had the days ?value bet?? A Leeds draw and City 3-1 at 65-1? So near yet so far.
