Highs and lows
This'd probably be better when we've all had time to muse a bit more.
Highs:
Ashton
Delia
Shackell
Drury finding some form after his confidence left him
Lows:
Sticking with favourites until far too late
Failing to find a striker pre-season
Failing to find a shape to accommodate Hucks
Critical points
Flem - at Everton I asked my bruv what he thought of Flem, and he said he thought him immaculate. I disagreed: even last season I said that he *looks* like an immaculate player but flatters to deceive as though he's composed he's some way short of being decisive or commanding. Needs to be replaced, IMVHO.
Jonson - OK I've been moaning about the guy all year. It may be that he's not been played in his best position - we just don't know. But if that's the case, that's Nigel's fault. Jonno can't be faulted for effort, but then neither can Holt.
Leon - it took the arrival of Deano to give Leon some belief. This was a shame. Way way back while Doc was still being played up front I was bemoaning that this was really unfair on Leon, as it meant he was going to be coming into a struggling side.
O f**k it, there's loads more. Let's do it later.
