i think the loan rules state that the club taking the player have to pay a minimum of 50% of the loanee's wages, which is not to be sniffed at

i do also wonder about the divisional wage structure that we've been so proud of too - obviously when signing players in the Premier League it'd have been expected for players to have to accept relegation clauses, similarly their agents would've insisted on promotion clauses in our early days following relegation from the Premier League, but in those early days would there have been any thought given to relegation from the Championship?
