Some Reserve Review

Ipswich were the better team throughout and deserved the win even though they struggled to make too many chances from open play. We never looked a threat apart from the odd set piece or two.

Rudd made some decent stops, was horribly exposed in the run up to the penalty. Could have easily seen red. Give him a season or two and he should be able to step up to first team action.

Askou was composed as usual, made some good tackles on a snowy pitch. The sooner we can get him back in the starting line up the better. Managed 60ish minutes without looking too tired by the end of it.

Stephens is a big chap and looks like he'll be a good central defender in the future.

Macca was off the pace the entire game. His passes rarely reached their targets and I'm surprised Lambert hasn't gotten rid of him yet.

Josh Dawkin has a good delivery on him but made no impact in open play. Another Rob Eagle?

Apart from that the scum managed to nullify pretty much anything we threw at them with a combative midfield.
