I went to the Stevenage reserve game....

...and thought that Whitbread looked quite promising. Won lots in the air, played it on the floor too.

McNamee looked a bit lost, but showed a few good touches. I was maybe expecting him to show a bit more pace and willing to run at players, but what do I know!!

Also, I was impressed with Francombe.

But, I like the what Lambert is doing and he does seem to have a better success rate in the transfer market than we have seen for a while (IMHO!)
