is that they ascertained how many tickets would be available for away fans, in total. I'll bet they didn't actually ask.
If HUFC knew that any tickets over and above the 415 would be on a No Returns basis then they may have worked out that their 400-odd tickets might have been all of them.
Hartlepool fans are, let's face it, not very used to seeing Sold Out signs go up and their travelling to games without advance tickets is probably the norm.
