Well speaking as someone who uses the butcher and grocer
The only bakery is a Breadwinner (part of Gregg's I think) up the road, some things to consider:
It's cheaper to shop local than in a supermarket
It's quicker
It's better for the community
It's better for the environment in some ways
It encourages diversity
The drive to cheapness via globalisation, which is what Tesc**t represents, brings down opportunity, encourages crime and rewards exploitation. But as long as it's cheaper, eh?
