but I don't see why made up s**t should be acceptable just because we are winning.

Making good decisions when we are winning is easy, though I fully accept that the nature of football is to build up our heroes then enjoy kicking them all the way down again (Sutch, Worthy, Gunn etc)

BTW FF's saves on Saturday did more to win us the game than Lambo's substitutions, but some see a pattern and want to make the facts fit it.
