spent has been wasted on players like Doherty. It is such a coup to make the Premiership and the rewards for remaining are so high we should definitely been prepared to spend a bit more. After all Ashton has hardly turned out to be a gamble instead a decent investment. Amazing also that Worthy finally seems to acknowledge that we need a defender rather than an attacker but presumably if we'd got Morrison he wouldn't have had the money for a defender?
