Reminds me of the notes I made at the Supporters Meeting at Carrow Road
Early August when representative of various fans groups were invited to meet the new board.
I've just cut and pasted what was said which was typed up the next morning from the notes. (I am TA)
The facilitator then moved the discussion on to managing the manager. Delia Smith stated that she did not know of any of the supposed problems with Roeder as manager, (TA ? I was struggling with the credibility of this) but qualified the comments by saying that she and MWJ were non-execs and not responsible for the day to day running of NCFC. They didn?t say who was responsible for managing Roeder (TA - I presume this would have either been Doncaster or Munby). Another attendee (might have been Paul Bond) stated that he telephoned Neil Doncaster and had a long conversation about the problems being created by Roeder. Doncaster assured him he was dealing with it. (TA ? all of this together appeared to me to be an admission of a catastrophic failure of management. The reason we were all there was the football, and the board had abdicated responsibility)
